She wanted a hat with a large puffy crown for tucking long hair in and it had to have a visor. This is what I came up with and she loves it! You can make this in just one color if you like.

Child's Margarine Tub Purse HTML/PDF Yes you have seen this type of purse before but I feel there could be many different versions like granny squares and scrunchies. So here is my version. These have been made to put little dolls in but they can be used for any small toy. This will also make a great gift for a little girl in your family. You could fill it up with all sorts of goodies and put a bow on it and give it to her as is without wrapping it. The one in the picture is going to my 2 year old neice. I know she is going to love it.

Simple Leg Warmers HTML/PDF This crochet pattern for Simple Leg Warmers is fairly fast and easy to make and is a good one for beginners to do. The cuff starts with rows done in the back loop only then the first row is stitch to the last row. Then the leg is worked in the round starting on the ends of each row around on one side.

Back to Back Scrunchie HTML/PDF This scrunchie pattern is made in 2 parts. The first 2 rounds are made on the elastic and then the 2nd 2 rounds are reapeats of the first two rounds are done on the back side of the first rounds. This is a great way to use up some scraps!
