Shell Stitch Drawstring Bag HTML/PDF This lustrous bag is great for any semi formal occasion. If you made one in white, it can be used as a wedding reception bag for the bride. And this is quick enough to make a one for each bride's made in the color that would match their gowns. It is made in 3 sections. The main part of the bag is made first, then the bottom is made and stitched on, then the casing and top are made last on the first round that is made.

Jumbo Coaster HTML/PDF This large coaster can also be used as a motif in a doily or placemat made of crochet thread. Of course you could use it as a coaster for a bowl of soup or large mug when you decide to have your dinner in the living room.

Peek-A-Boo Square HTML/PDF This square has a little peek hole in the center of it and also the white yarn on the last round peeks through the red yarn. So I could not think of a better name. Imagine this square done in green white and red or 2 shades of blue with white for the December holidays.

Honeycomb Dishcloth HTML/PDF This dishcloths uses the variation of the popcorn stitch the kernel stitch and since this dishcloth is round I could not think of a better name. Sort of resembles the cereal of the same name. Well sort of. It is a fairly fast and easy dishcloth to make and would make a great addition to a gift basket of kitchen related goodies.

Linked Chains Baby Afghan HTML/PDF This afghan is made with a new pattern stitch I thought I developed. I call it chain links. But it is actually called trellis stitch. Priscilla Hewitt came up with this stitch pattern before I did. I just did not know it until after I posted this new pattern. This afghan takes time to make so if you need an afghan in a hurry, you should consider another design. But if you have plenty of time before the baby is due, go ahead and make this one. It is well worth the time and effort it takes. Also it is suitable for either a boy or girl depending on the colors you use.

Little Square Doily HTML/PDF This little lacy doily may be just the thing you need to go underneath a small candle. Or you can make 9 of these to make a larger doily. You can even make a tablecloth with this doily by making a whole bunch! The last round can be worked so they are joined to the previous one as they are finished.

Scallop Edged Sachet HTML/PDF This frilly sachet is easy and fun to make and would make addition to a gift basket which is filled with sweet smelling items for bed or bath. All I did to make it smell sweet is to spray the stuffing and the outside with my favorite perfume. Of course with the way this is made, you could use Christmas colors and make it into an ornament.

Sky Scraper Bookmark HTML/PDF This is one of those patterns that I started out not knowing what I was going to come up with. I knew I wanted to create a bookmark, but I had no idea what it would look like. Well this is what I came up with. When it was finished, I thought it looked like one of those sky scrapers in NY.
