This project is a good way to use up red scraps of yarn and recycle those whipped topping containers you may have kicking around. This Mile-A-Minute style bookmark is fairly fast and easy to make and can be completed in an evening.  The way the clusters are made looks like they make up a column of hearts down the center of it.  Great for Valentine's Day!

This pattern is another one named for a town in Maine.  The way it is made is each row is fastened off to change colors.  If you made this in one color, it would not have the same effect.  You really should make this in more than one color.
